About the Founders

CBD Oil Scotland was founded by Barry Gillespie, a Lanarkshire-based entrepreneur with a long-standing passion for making high-quality CBD products accessible to people across Scotland and beyond. Having seen first-hand the impact that well-sourced, properly tested CBD could have on people’s everyday wellbeing, Barry set out to build a brand that Scotland could trust — one rooted in quality, transparency, and affordability. He personally oversees product sourcing, supplier due diligence, and quality assurance, ensuring that every oil, vape, gummy, and capsule meets current UK regulatory standards before it reaches the customer.

Barry is joined in the business by his partner, Wendy Jackson, who holds a Medicinal Cannabis & CBD Oil Diploma awarded with Distinction by the Centre of Excellence — one of the most comprehensive specialist qualifications available in the UK CBD and cannabis health sector. As the business’s Logistics and Research Manager, Wendy brings formally accredited knowledge of cannabinoids, medicinal applications, legal frameworks, and safe usage guidelines to every product decision. Her qualification ensures CBD Oil Scotland operates with a rigorous, up-to-date understanding of the regulatory environment governing CBD products in the UK, giving customers confidence that everything they purchase is safe, legal, and properly evidenced.
